Fix the Trouble of Uninstall Nero 8 Completely

Nero 8 is a professional tool for burning and copying various formats including CD, DVD, diagnostic tools, virtual disc drives, DVD-9 and DVD-5 compression, and audio support for multiple formats.

It is very nice software, but while uninstall it, you will be stuck in trouble. The remains of Nero will prevent you to install new version of it or any other programs of the same kind.

Now let me introduce a method to uninstall Nero 8 completely. We know that program could not be uninstalled while they are running so we must make sure that the program is closed before uninstallation. Some programs or tasks of Nero will run in back-end with system start. Since we do not recognize the program or task running, we should launch our system in safe mode before we uninstall Nero. Because under safe mode, no program runs except system. While system starting, keep pressing F8 until it comes to windows advanced options menu and then select Safe Mode and press Enter. The system will launch in safe mode.

Then we could uninstall Nero through Add/Remove list of Control Panel first, after that you will find some folders of Nero still located in its installation directory. At this time we could delete these remaining folders manually, because the main parts of them have been uninstall.

Do not think that Nero has already been removed totally now. The registry which is so important for system is usually neglected. Without a clear registry, such uninstallation is a failure.

So finally we should clean the registry to remove all the items of Nero. Use Advanced PC Tweaker to scan and clean registry easily. It will help us to find out the invalid and empty keys of Nero and then remove them automatically.
